Alt Press fair 2011

Here are a few photos from the International Alt' Press fair at Conway Hall in London. It was a weekend event but I only attended for the sunday.

I'm so glad I went! It was a bit scary at first as it was my first time as an exhibitor, but as I started meeting some great people my nerves settled! I just can't wait for the next one now!

Life is great - Poster print.

Just a 3 colour screen print promoting my comic.

A wizard!

Just a wizard I conjured up for Timothy Winchester over at http://timothywinchester.blogspot.com/

Hooray for wizards!

More printing!

So here are a few snaps of the screen printing in progress. There are 3 separate screens for each spread, one for every colour. These take up so much time, doing 30 copies of the comic is proving to be a bit of a headache!

Making the screens.

Here are a few images of me oiling up my prints so they can be put onto silk screens for hand printing.

27 images over 13 screens = lots of work!

life is great.
